Hi Everyone,
I'm a new owner to a 2004 Ditch Witch SK500 Mini-Skid. It came with a few accessories, tiller, auger, claw, bucket, leveler. It fires up with no issues and I've used it around the property already. The hour meter is at 650 hours.
I was planning on doing a complete fluid change. 10w30 for the Honda GX670 motor, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, hydraulic filter and fluid. According to the specs, the unit will hold 5.5 gallons of hydraulic fluid.
Question is, which hydraulic fluid? Manual says "Tractor hydraulic fluid, similar to Phillips 66 HG, Mobilfluid 423, Chevron Tractor Hydraulic Fluid, Texaco TDH Oil, or equivalent"
So which one? 5 gallon buckets? cost?
The SK500 has been a blast to use!
Thanks,
Curtis
