Working through installing a diverter to run a grapple lid on a JD 5093e with an H260 loader. One is activator switches being eaten - here's a link to a separate thread about that:
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/hydraulics/375263-diverter-jd-h260-switch-problems.html
The other issue is that that bucket curl seems to be be much slower.
I originally installed the diverter in the lift circuit, and I didn't notice any function problems, but this operation seems clumsy to me (I can't walk and chew gum), so I reconfigured to put valve in curl circuit. Now curl seems slow.
I was previously able to shake the joy stick to shake the bucket - very good for shaking packed in sticks etc out of the grapple. Can't shake any more, and curl is irritatingly slow. I don't shake the stick much, seems hard on the system to do that but the curl speed is a problem. Seems to generate plenty of force (though I haven't really tested it with work).
I'm thinking that the diverter valve doesn't have the flow rate. It is rated at 13.2 GPM. Tractor pump rated at 15.9. This is a deere tractor, and my understanding is that there is no regen feature like there is on the kubotas. Though to be honest, the symptoms sound very close - slow curl and I think the system loads when I float the bucket (very similar to what I've read here about the kubotas).
What gives?
Thanks in advance...
