Kubota L39
Looking for someone that knows what solenoid valve and base I need to add a 3rd function valve to my Kubota L39. Im a Electrical/Hvac contractor so I don't feel the plumbing of the hydraulics will be a problem but I am looking for someone that knows what I need for parts to make this happen. Anyone that can give advice would be helpful.

Thanks Chris

Just as a precaution, be sure that everything that you get is rated for the GPM flow of your tractor, if not there could be expensive repair bills in your future. You don't want to cook the fluid and or your pump.

I believe that your tractor has a higher rating than a 10 GPM flow and in reality that sub plate is not even rated for 10 GPM.

A lot of people get by with using these smaller GPM setups, but I would be Leary of using the recommended set with your tractor.

Just my :2cents:, take it for what it may be worth.

Thanks. I looked up my specs for the FEL and they are 11.4 GPM.

I'm trying to find a valve rated at around 15 GPM now. I too think 10 GPM rated sub plate is low.

Yeah, my bad.

Northman Fluid Power Hydraulic Directional Control Valve – 16.8 GPM, 4500 PSI, 3-Position, Double Solenoid, Open Center Spool, 12 Volt DC Solenoids, Model# SWH-G02-C3-D12-10 | Power Solenoid| Northern Tool + Equipment

Better?

With subplate:

All the DO3 subplates that I have seen will need to be modified to provide the proper flow. Easily done, but still needs to be done or the oil flow will be restricted.

Typically the subplate and the fittings that go to the subplate will need to have the ports enlarged.

That or go with a DO5 subplate as JJ suggested, just a lot more $$, but easier.
