DIY FEL mounted Brush cutter

I would love a lane shark, but it is just not in the budget right now. I saw this picture the other day and it got me thinking.

I think you could make a lane shark out of 1 or 2 lawn mowers that you attach to your forks on the FEL. The problem is a vertical shaft lawn mower would not work on its side so you would have to convert it to a horizontal shaft motor. If you had a big enough engine you could run 2 mowers or a riding mower deck with a bigger blade. Has anyone done this? I am intrigued. I am not talking about using this to clear the brush just to keep if from overgrowing the road like it tries to do this time of the year in the jungle. ( I mean southeast US).

I made a fel mounted hedge cutter, using sickle bar blades.
They're not strong enough, but work ok.
Mine will reach 10' high, extend 10' out to either side, and can cut horizontal / vertical right left forwards and backwards.

It was a lot of work to make, but fun.
I recently made new blade bars with opposed knives with a scissor like action, and it works really well now.

The number of hours I put into the machine rival hand cutting the hedge (well, maybe with a hand held power hedgecutter), but I'd rather spend an hour in my workshop than a half hour landscaping.
