Does anyone know of a website, or other source of plans for a "Build it Yourself" bucket, for a compact tractor front loader. They must be out there! I have a Massey Ferguson Model 232 front loader, and I need 60" width. Thank you
Sansei
I have built a couple of buckets for my skid steer. It was really easy. I just looked at another bucket used an angle finder to get the right angle. Then I told the local metal shop I wanted a sheet of X gauge steel broke at that angle. I cut some steel for the sides and welded them on and reinforced the edges. Then I welded up the attachment plates and the cutting bar which was a beveled grader blade that I picked up for 17 bucks at the scrap yard. Add paint and I was done. The main project took about a day to do. I also needed some time to find parts and paint. Cost was about $125 I think.
Even easier was the sifting bucket I built. For that all I had to do was make a bucket frame with the cutting bar and weld in rods. It’s not fancy but I bet it works like the fancy ones.
Sorry I didn't answer you question.
Good luck
Eric
