Your question raised an interesting point. The total pump flow on the 3054 was 7 gpm - it does not have power steering. The total pump flow on a DK45 was 13.18 gpm, where 8.24 gpm was for the main hydraulics. According to those specs, the DK45 would have the edge. Looking at the manufactures web site today, I noticed that the total pump flow for a DK45 has increased to 14.2 gpm, where 9.9 gpm is the main hydraulic flow. This is a 17% increase over the old spec. The 3-point lift capacity has also increased to 2987 lbs. By the way, this 3-point capacity is better than the new DK55's capacity. Sound right? The pump flow for the 3054 has increased to 8 gpm. The difference between pump capacities on a DK45 and a 3054 is now 1.9 gpm. Did Kioti actually improve the hydraulic system, or are they playing creative spec wars? Knowing the actual pump flows will help you in your decision making process. Hopefully someone can shed some additional light on the subject. The retailer web sites still have the old specs listed.
