Kioti DK 55-New Holland EC-35
I have never bent more things on three other tractors combined in 6 years as I have in 50 hours with this DK 55. The upper toplink bent the other day when I put on my scra /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gifper blade and raised it up . The threaeded end just drooped like a piece of licorice in the sun . This morning I went out started up and dumped the rain water out of the bucket and as I lifted and curled the bucket the right side self leveling bar bowed so far that I cannot curl the bucket now. Blew right through my pallet forks, sprang them like there is no tomorrow. I use this machine every day but know how to run 'em. We are not beating the heck out of them. I am not convinced this self leveling loader set up is all it is cracked up to be, too many moving parts. My dealer is fixing everyhting including the neurotic fuel gauge and sending unit with no questions, but still I do not have much confidence in this loader 1595. Any thoughts? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Kioti uses at least 2 different US manufactures to make their FEL's. I'm not sure who makes the 1595. Rhino makes some of their FEL's and most of Kioti's backhoes. It's tough being patient when you have problems with a new rig, but your problems seem to be on their way to being corrected. It shouldn't have happened, but at least you know that you don't have wimpy hydraulics.

I don't know about the Kioti as I have yet to see one in our area but my B21 has the self-leveling mechanism and I love
it. Never any problems with it.

Does your self leveling bucket curl all of the way . I know that the Kioti or ,whatever is really under paint , does not curl as far as a traditional bucket. This is a problem in certain situations like dealing with pallet forks or trying to load the bucket from an excavator, there is not enough sweat spot exposed to really get it full. If I had to do it again I would not go with this loader configuration until Kioti figures out how to get these things to curl full cycle. Love this tractor to death however . I cannot stop raving about it whenever anyone asks.

I think the design of the self-leveling bucket limits the amount it will curl in both directions. It thew me for a loop the first time I used it too. Thought something was wrong. Started reading different threads on it and found out it is the nature of the beast. Also found out that it just takes a little different technique and you certainly can get a full bucket. It seemed too that material would fall out of the bucket because of the position while traveling, not true. Keep working with it and search the threads, you'll get real good with it before you know it.

The bucket works fine when filling froma pile or out of the truck. The problem we have is using it in conjunction with the excavator. We use the tractor as a whell barrow alot . Fill it with stone or whatever and put it directly in the truck .Without being able to get full roll back it is really hard to get everything in the bucket. Lots spills out. I am a Ruby Goldberg type and will fiddle with it and let everyone know when I get it to curl. There is liability as far as Kioti goews or any O.E>M. for that matter. Even my DK 35 had rollback stops that were removable on the loaber. What a diference it made to get rid of them. Just had to be careful of spilling material on yourself if the bucket were fulll and lifted over head.
