Kioti DK45TLB
Is anyone using a 4 in 1 bucket on their DK35 Kioti and how do they like it ? I had one on my L2650 kubota and it was terrible .Very weak !!! I would like to find a good strong one for the DK35 that I am getting ready to order as I will be moving a lot of brush piles on my place . Also my salesman just told me they do not reconmend the 2085BH and now use a 1550BH . He told me the 2085BH is to heavy for the tractor ??? I really need the 8'-6" digging ability of the 2085BH . I want to do this right the first time and would appreciate any help or comments.
Thanks
Bigal

I run a Rhino 85 backhoe(same hoe as the 2085) on my DK 35, but haven't used it many hours yet.
No problems so far.
When I purchased my DK a couple years ago the 2085 was listed as a backhoe option, it has since been changed and the 8 1/2 foot backhoe is no longer listed on the kioti site as and option for the DK 35. Why???

I've asked this same question to many Kioti dealers and even e-mailed Kioti several times. My take on all this is they, Kioti, are scared to death of warrantee problems. I have a 4110 Mahindra with the Bradco 11 ft hoe on it. Not a single problem with the tractor, it's frame, mounting or otherwise. Yes, I had to go to a PTO pump system in order to get the correct flow. The Mahindra's 7.8 GPM main pump is half of what the Bradco hoe needs, still, the tractor has held it up well with no problems, not even a loose bolt to report..

The local salesman told me the 2085 put to much stress on the tranmission housing because of the sub frame mount and the weight of the unit .He told me they could crack the Transmission housing I have no idea if this is correct or not . My old Kubota was a three point mount and I hated it ,so I do not want to go that way . It was a pain to take off and put on again . I have been quoted the 2085 for a DK35 by another dealer and he said nothing about problems like this .If I do get the 2085 and have a problem like this ,is it a covered warranty item or am I up the creek ?

I can't answer about Kioti, the dealers, who will or will not warrantee something.. If they're having a transmission mount problem, I'm not aware of this. I do know a Kioti dealer that is willing to answer all these type questions on the phone. I found him most honest and if I were to buy a Kioti, he would be the one I would go through. In either case, I check under my Mahindra quite frequently and have never found anything to worry about. I think my dealer took lot's of extra time to make sure it was right before delivery. I have just about equal time between the use of 3pt hitch and the hoe. My delaer also, was told up front, the hoe was the most important and probably used piece..

The KB2385 only weighs 125 more than the KB2375. These are the new backhoes from Kioti made in Korea. Im not sure why they don't have a mount for the DK35 listed on the website or in the flyers and i will look into it. They do however show in my wholegood manual that the KB2085 will fit the DK35. I know the backhoes they use to get, same as Rhino Backhoes, they had an 8 1/2 foot backhoe for the DK35. The KB2085 (rhino 85) backhoe still only weighed 125 more than the KB1550 (Rhino 75) so i don't see why it would be a problem for the DK35 to have a KB2385 Backhoe mounted on it.

Thanks Jon ,
I would still like to know if it is " Kioti warranty covered" if a problem ever developed.
Thanks again ,
Big Al
P.S. Have a good Christmas everyone!

bigal - If kioti shows it will work with the DK35 and its a Kioti Backhoe you are using and it breaks under normal use, then i don't see why they wouldn't warranty it. I have never had any problems with the Kioti warranty department. Private message me and i can put you in contact with the warranty department if you would like to speak with them, they would be glad to answer any warranty questions for you.

My dad has a JD4310 that he ordered with the 4-n-1 bucket. He loved it (30 acres of mostly timber). He recently ordered a BoDozer Grapple from DePratt. Let me tell you, that grapple is wicked. You can uproot trees, build brush piles with ease... and you can see what you're doing (by design of the grapple). He tells me that the grapple is much better than the 4-n-1, which is much better than a regular bucket. $.02 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
