I cut, rake, bale and pickup hay using my 35 hp tractor. About 15 acres. JD 14T baler, NH 479 mower/conditoner, NH 1012 stack wagon. Occasionally a Kuhn combo tedder/rake. No problems. You ought to have at least a 2 stage pto clutch or "live power" independent pto control. I started out with the same hay equipment and a 22hp Yanmar, also no problems other than the pto clutch controled the ground drive as well as the pto. Those who say it can't be done or that the tractor is too light or too small have never tried something wild.
