Just recieved pricing from dealer yesterday. DK35HSE with KL351 loader was priced for $18,300 and that was with $1,000 taken off for faded paint on one wheel and paying cash money. He said the tractor had been on his lot for 6-8 months and with the faded paint on one wheel he could discount that one. The DK40HSE with KL401 loader was priced for $20,800 cash deal. After reading up on the post on this site that appears to maybe be on the high end of the price range for these tractors. I may need to reconsider and look at the CK models. I have a 20 acre field to keep grass down and about 5 acres of food plots to work. The food plots are 50 miles from the house so hauling of the tractor is also an issue. The dealer is 1/4 mile from the house and has been in business for 25 years. Is the pricing good for Oklahoma?

Old inventory is getting harder to come by and the prices you got are very good prices.
If you wait to long the new price tractors will be alot more than that.
I would buy now.

I'm a DK40se owner and when I bought there was not as much a difference between the two models. For $2500 difference I might just go with the DK35/KL351 with the faded wheel  though even though I think the KL401 is much preferable if you are doing serious loader work. For mowing I don't think the 3 or 4 horsepower difference would make any difference in how big a mower you could pull. You don't want to go to the CK series in my opinion if you have 20 acres of mowing to do on a regular basis.

After a few months of reading all of the post on here and checking out all of the different brands and dealers within 60 miles I finally made a decision yesterday and purchased a DK40HSE. It will be delivered tomorrow so know I will have to keep reading all of the post to learn what I'm doing on it. This is my first tractor and I have a lot to learn. I appreciate all of the replies to questions I have asked and the many more I will be asking. I'm just glad that I didn't take Mr. Wallace's advice and buy last week it would have cost me that free loader.

Thanks again to all.

Congrats on a great purchase! The DK40SE is probably my favorite tractor. Don't be too hard on Rick, none of us saw the free loader for the DK series coming (SE models), it didn't even come up at the recent dealer meeting.

Kioti is offering the cash buyer, or those who like to use their own lending source, deals comparable to the 0 percent offeres for credit buyers that have been with us so long. I think a lot of people who could/would have paid cash, may have taken the zero percent deal because it was there, of course the financing costs are built into the tractor price. To get a Free loader, with a list price of up to $5200, is a real strong incentive, and although I have not done the math, I think it trumps the low rates (if not low rates are still available...if you can qualify and that is getting tougher everywhere).

I promise you'll be happy. I get a big merde eating grin on my face everytime I start mine up. The grin only gets bigger when I put it to work.:D

Congrats on the new tractor. I have been shopping around and the best price I have found for a DK40se, FEL and Ag tires is $23,874.00. Where did you find the 20,800.00 price??

I actually paid less than the $20,800 because Kioti offered the free loader on the DK models starting March 1st.
