Tractor
Kioti/DK35
Hi All, we are looking at a DK35, my husband was leaning towards a Massey Ferguson till we saw Kiotis at the dealership. After looking them over carefully, I think he is leaning toward the Kioti (more standard options vs. price). Surprises me since he's not very into foreign model purchases. How is Kioti warranty? Also tractor he's looking at has a Rhino 2409 (i think) FEL. Does anyone know anything about them? Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Welcome to TBN. You're husband may not like foreign goods, but he'll not find a tractor, or car, for that matter that doesn't have a good bit of foreign materials, if not all.

Masseys are not American made either, with products from Turkey, Poland and many other countries. This is true for most manufacturers of tractors. The good thing about Kioti and Kubota both is that they build their own tractors exclusively, unlike every other maker. Implements are usually made by other companies.

The Kioti warranty is as good as any in the business for the most part. A recent poster even had a service technician come from the headquarters to solve a minor problem he was having when his dealer was unable to resolve it.

I've had no warranty issues with my CK20 other than a plastic knob on the foldable ROPS that broke off, and my dealer brought me another right away.

Rhino used to make all the Kioti loaders, and posters have spoken very highly of them. I understand that Kioti only changed to another company because they got a cheaper price.

While I don't have a DK35, I have been on them several times and tried them out at my dealer's. They are tough and very strong tractors. I don't think you'd go wrong with one.

We have quite a few satisfied posters on this forum who do have that model.

Let us know how it goes, and remember, we love pictures! John

I believe Massey compacts are manufactured in Japan by Iseki.

Stargazer127,

When Vince sees this post he will respond. Vince has a DK35, and I'm sure he will help you out. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I too was looking at Massey's when I purchased mine. It came down to price and features that sold me on the Kioti. Massey 65 was what I was using and it was very reliable.

That is right. The MF compacts are made by Iseki in Japan.

I have the Dk45 TLB Kioti on my 50 acre ranch. I had planned to purchase the DK35 ,but because of the amount of land I used it on the DK45 suits my needs better .Anyway , I think the Kioti DK35 is a very fine tractor , Lots of power, a very nice and roomy operators platform and easy to operate . My wife is even starting to venture out on it ! When you factor in the price along with all the standard features you'll be getting on a Kioti , I just think they are unbeatable . I was a Kubota owner before this, which is a good tractor, but now after owning a Kioti I would never go back .
I wish now that I had got the Rhino Loader instead of the Kioti #1590 loader that I have . Don't misunderstand me, the kioti loader does a good job , I am just used to a loader that has more of a roll back angle . It still picks up a full bucket with ease .Warranty is very good and parts are avalible if needed . I've never needed replacement parts and as well as this tractor is built don't forsee it in the future hopefully .
The best reconmendation I can give you is when I buy another tractor , it will also be another Kioti. Hope this helps .The DK35 is a lot of tractor

I've owned a DK 35 for a few years now and can answer any questions you have.
Or at least try /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
A nice machine, I've been real happy with mine.. I can't tell you anything about the Rhino loader though, I have the KL 1450 Kioti loader on mine.

Masseys have been made all over the world at one time or another, using Iseki and other engines. Check it out, you'll find they've been made many many places. John
