DK40 won't start, no crank

   / DK40 won't start, no crank #11
I have this problem from time to time with my dk50se I haven't replaced a relay yet but I have done the swap connections the relays it then turns over but won't start, then I swap connections back to original positions and it will start right up. Works every time, seems strange me that if it were a relay issue simply switching them back and forth would cure the issue.

replace both relays. they are cheap. The pull coil on the fuel solenoid likely draws more current and the burned contacts make the the extra current load. This is just a theory, but you asked for an answer. Another theory is that the push on contacts on the bottom of the relay is corroded and taking them off and back on "fixes it" for a while.. Another unproven theory. But it would not hurt to squirt a little fluid film on them and then take them off and put them back on a few times. Won't hurt a thing.
