Looking for a little help gents, I was inspired by Sysop in this thread
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/customization/308143-found-heck-deal-led-light-3.html
and am trying to copy his layout. I have the actual lights installed but before I start hacking (the wrong) wires I thought I better check in. I've spent a lifetime running wires but I didn't help my core Electrical Engineering Class achieve the worst failure rate in history based on my strong theoretical knowledge.
I purchased the wiring kit for the cree lights, which has red/black running from power to a fuse then a relay splitting to the switch and lights. Can I simply take the red and splice it into the main power running to the fuse box and ground the black to the frame? Alternatively there is a spare spot in the fuse panel, could I hook it up through there? Like Sysop I want to run 2 lights and am thinking off of the same line.
Cheers,
Tyler
