Thanks to DK45Jeff for getting me to look at a DK45 /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Got a price within my budget for a DK45 and a KL1590 Loader.

Question, are there any issues with this loader?

Searching, it seems that there are at least a couple of issues with the KL1595 loader.

Was looking for some feedback from anyone that may have the DK45 and KL1590 loader.

Being that it's 6a.m. right now, I forgot that would probably include DK45Jeff.

Any input on this combination would be appreciative.

Thks

I have this combination and am generally satisfied, as I don't need to move large amounts of material with the loader. Bucket rollback is inadequate. With a full bucket, material will drop out even if you are careful and drive slow.

it doesn't roll back far enough and the roll back isn't very strong.

I'm glad you've found some better prices on the Kioti, I can't say enough how impressed I've been with the DK45 performance. The only issue people have complained of is the limited roll back angle. With a full bucket loose material will dribble from the bucket if I'm too abrupt on the clutch. For me this isn't an issue, I can load the bucket and carry a lot of stuff without spilling. That said keep in mind this is my first tractor with a loader so I don't have anything to compare against.

The two things I really like about 1590 is the lifting capacity and the self leveling feature. The 1590 is one of the strongest loaders for a CUT on the market, it has lots of capacity but is well matched to the tractor. I have a set a pallet forks and I've found the self leveling function very useful in keeping the loaded angled correctly as I raise and lower the load.

A minor point is the bucket level indicator is included with loader, where some manufactures charge $200 or $300 for this feature. The price seems excessive to me, as the level indicator is nothing more than a long metal rod that attached to the bucket and a sleeve the attached to the loader frame. The rod is marked or cut and you can judge the bucket angle by looking at the rods position in the sleeve, not exactly a technological marvel.

I'm a Kioti fan, but not a fan of that loader. Avoid the KL1590 and some others. Buy it with a Woods or Rhino loader. You'll be more satisfied.

Thanks guys.

Appreciate the input.

Only problem now is that the dealer I'm looking at only stocks the Kioti loader /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Try to find a Kioti dealer that is also a Woods dealer, or ask your dealer about becoming a Woods dealer. Much better loader!

You don't have to buy the loader from your dealer. You can always add it on. Your dealer may also be able to order you a loader from Woods, or Rhino anyway. Of course, if using Kioti financing, you can't get the 0% on non-Kioti implements, but you can still get low rates through Agricredit Acceptance LLC on the other brands. Your dealer should know how to do this.

Hi John ! Just got back from Panama . Be nice about that ole 1590 loader ! I agree the roll back leaves a lot to be desired but I have always been able to get a full loader bucket . And my#1590 loader has more lift than I know what to do with ! The only problems I have had were my own fault . The bolts backed out on the loader bushings and I tweaked a linkage shackle . I should have done a better visual before jumping on and taking off . I cannot speak of the Woods loader because I have never owned one , but that DK45 is the best tractor I have owned . The new DK45S looks interesting but Mama might hang me if I start talking about buying another tractor so soon .
By the way . do you wear Kioti orange underwear ? I never in my life knew anyone that knows as much about Kioti's as you do . I bet you sleep with a owners manual !
I'll be glad to get back to the ranch and put a little time on the old tractor .
