DK4510SE and snow chains?

I've just about settled on the DK4510SE HST. But this video: Kioti DK451 Walkaround - YouTube has me worried. Apparently there are only 2.5 inches of clearance from the tire to the rear fender. I absolutely need snow chains. Living in the mountains where I do I'll probably just leave them on year round. I did search around the forums and the only thing I found was a recommendation to modify or raise the fenders. Is anyone running snow chains on a dk10 without reducing the width of the rears?

I could go up to the NX as it has higher fenders but that sure seems like a waste of money when a DK will suit me just fine and the DK10SE comes with the rear remote.

If you have a dealer close by with that model, best thing to do is go see it in person to find out the actual clearance. The tire type/tread may affect clearance too.

Clearance is only 2.5 inches. Not enough for euro chains. I could skinny up the rear width but that isn稚 an option in the mountains. I知 going to talk to a dealer next week. I may end up with the NX. it is a nice machine and adding a rear remote for top n tilt is pretty inexpensive on these tractors. Price would still be similar to what I知 being quoted for the Kubota L4701 but a much nicer tractor.

I have the NX4510HSTC with the rear wheels set to max width. Ton of room for chains. You might also like the extra weight with the NX. You'll also get a slightly stronger loader.

What tires are you planning on, and why do you think you need snow chains? I run a DK5010 with R1 (ag) tires in tons of snow (annual average: 240") and have not used, wanted or needed chains. R4 tires don't do well in snow, FWIW.
