I just found out the the DK45 is now available with a cab. It is at the dealership now and will be delivered to my place on Monday. The cab appears to be the same as the DK50C. The tilt wheel lock is much improved and it has a catagory 2 hitch. The R4 tires make it look like a steam roller. The price was $9000 less than a Kubota 5030C I was considering plus the Kioti has the self leveling loader. Can't wait to try it out!!

Yes Kioti now offers the DK45 in a cab version. The DK45 and DK50 are built on the same frame. All the new DK50 and DK45's have Cat 1 and II hitch. As well as some other little updates. The DK50 will no longer be offered in a cab version only a ROPS Version. The Cab models that they will be offering will only be in the DK45, DK55 and DK65.

I don't suppose that the cab option is available as an aftermarket add on for an existing DK 45 is (please say yes!) Do you know why they are going to discontinue the DK50C?

Tim,
The cab is available without doors, then soft doors can be added. List price is $1545 for the cab and $690 for the doors. It is also available for the DK40 or the DK50 without a factory cab.
It is my understanding that it is basically the same cab as comes on the factory cab tractors. Only it doesn't have air, heat or a radio. These are rough details as I haven't had a chance to fully discuss all of the details with our sales rep. Don't know how hard it would be to put on.

Thanks for the information. Why not the regular doors?

Could heat/AC/radio be added? If I couldn't have those three things, I wouldn't really want a cab anyway. I guess I may just have to wait until I can pick up a DK 65 with a cab (that's the plan here in a few years...unless there is a DK 75/85/95 etc available by then. We need something to replace our Ford 7700 with).

Probably could, but it would be rather expensive. Just like adding all of those things to a car that never had them before.
DK65C is nice and gives you a bit more room and of course a bit more power /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, just for you /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I have a cardboard box (says KIOTI even) and a piece of heavy mil plastic for the windshield.
You have to add your own AC and heat. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Seriously, so far I have heard nothing of an add-on cab for the ROPS 65 at least from KIOTI anyhow. Maybe some aftermarket people might do it in the future.
