I would be tempted to go for it. I run a 15 ft batwing in that type of field with a dk55. If it is too thick just take a smaller bite.

I would say no on a 10' 3 pt. I've got a 7' 3 pt and that's about all I'd want on my DK 55. Now, if is could handle pulling a lighter weight bat wing, I'd love to do it, but I've got rolling terrain/terraces and probably don't need to take any chances.

Is it not correct that a 8' double spindle mower would be easier to use than a sigle spindle 7' mower? The single 7' mower would be a monster hanging way back there, but the double spinddle 8'er would be similar to two 4' mowers side by side nice and close to the rear axle. Extending this to a 10' double spindle mower being like two 5' mowers side by side.

Yes, it is a lot of mower to handle for a 45. Too bad you can't try it out.

I pull a 10 ft drag type bush hog. Used to have a 6 ft 3 point. The 10 ft has 3 gear boxes. It is eaiser to pull and takes less power to operate than the 6 ft 3 point with one gear box. Have used the 10 ft drag type on hilly terrain for 2 years. I don't have any level ground. Used the hog on 60 acres.
