So you decided against the Foton? I am glad you got a tractor but why ask if its a good deal now??? You already payed for it.

LOL!! Chris, I ran into an issue with Rural king and decided that probably wasn't my best choice. I just needed a little slap on the back of reassurance on the Kioti deal. I have never bought a sparkling new tractor before.Always had old, and in some cases, everyone else's problem that they got rid of. Rural king also could not give me a ship date, or any other answers either. They also were not good about returning phone calls.All I got when I would ask a question was, " I think it does, or I'm sure it probably does." I finally told them to send me some pics...........That never happened either. If I lived closer and could personally kick the tires before buying, it might have been different. I should get the new Kioti early next week. I'll send pics then if I ever get off the thing.

Well the Kioti should do great for you. It will be what I buy next if not another Jinma. That is if its ever needed. I think the Kioti or BobCat, same tractors, are the best bang for the buck and outshine many of the other colors.

I feel very comfortable with my decision. Like I said,too many red flags goin for the low price. When local dealer wouldn't budge off 16,800 for a foton- lets just say my emotions were runnin on empty. Do I , or don't I? I believe that one should never chase a "deal". Glad to hear the positive feedback on the Kioti, I really wanted the tractor in this HP/weight range and I am relieved to have struck the deal/took the plunge/whatever. I'm like a proud new papa waitin for a new son/daughter. Itchin.........Hope they can deliver by the weekend.......Please.......pretty please.

Yeh, Chip, I knew that was you. I tell ya what,this site has taught me alot the last couple of years. I'll probably be orderin' the aux. hyd. kit in the future when I go to the top-n-tilt, but needed tractor last week.:laughing:I'm still droolin all over myself. Service makes the sale every time. I am considering importing fotons for sale in Colorado. can you give me your opinion as to what made you decide on the kioti Vs the foton? service, value, product generally, etc. From our research the tractors demonstrate value, durability and serviceability.

Customer service is of course number one in every circumstance but from a real tractor buyers perspective any input would be appreciated.

Bottom line was that, in this area, the Foton from major dealer was only $1600 less. Parts availability, from all research was questionable. Tractor online from a dealer who stocked no parts was almost $5k less. Ultimately, my concern with quality of chinese raw material helped me choose also. Although chinese have some engineering on par with ours, their quality control over processed materials leaves a little to be desired. Fotons almost made the cut, but in the end I got 5hp more, better parts availability, better warranty, etc. I you can stock/get plenty of parts, I'd say go for it. Just my .025 cents.
