3-Point Hitch DK45se 3pt question

   / DK45se 3pt question #11
Maybe get a measurement from pin centers at the tractor to pins at the attachment point and post that here. Then hopefully someone can measure theirs and you will know if yours are to short or if you should be looking for something else.

Good luck

Good idea. I'll get a measurement and post.

Thanks.

Steve, ive been looking at the photo and im wondering if you could move the wheel back to the next mounting holes? Im assuming it only hits on the right side?

Also does the right mount on the mower adjust down any?

Sorry if im not much help, im just trying to look at photo to find a solution.

I appreciate all the ideas. The problem is I'm having the same problem with my box blade and all 3 points are fixed on the box blade.

I'm going to measure the bottom links, post it and see if maybe somebody can compare theirs.

I have not talked to my dealer yet. He's over 200 miles away and was hoping somebody would see something obvious before I contacted him.

Thanks for your help.

OK - When I look at the picture the angle of the mower is wrong ! If the top link is correct the back of the mower should be higher than the front in the raised position . That would put the small wheels on the mower farther away from the tractor . When you set the mower down that should level the mower. Most top links have 3-holes to attach . Witch one is it in and is it the top link that came with the tractor . The angle of the mower in the picture tells me that the top link needs to be 6" to a foot shorter ! Same deal for the boxblade.

One more point - if you look at other finish mowers ( on the Kioti )or other web site they seam to have an extra piece about 9" long added to the mower at the bottom links . Could yours be missing ?

Your mower looks like a woods, so the 3pt attachment points swivel like mine do. My question is this, is your top link in the A B or C position? Also, when you have your top link on the mower, and the mower is flat on the ground, is your toplink attachment on the mower pointed slightly down?

I have a DK45s ...... all measurements on a direct line to the centerline of connection point.

Top link is 24", I run most of my implements with it extended to 28-30"

I run the top link on the middle mounting position.

Lower lift arms are 32"

You could get a quick hitch, which will extend the lift arms a little.

Can you take a better picture of the lift arms?

Here's a picture (assuming I do this right) of my finish mower's front wheel in contact with the tractor tire and the 3pt lever is not even all the way up. You'll notice that the left one is not touching but it will when driving on a left slope. The pins on the stableizers are centered but there is still enough slack that the implement will sway and either side or both will contact the tractor tires. I have this same problem with my box blade. I have to be really careful with the box or the "feet" will hit the tires and cause big troubles.

I'm just wondering if the bottom links are not the ones that are supposed to be on a DK45?

Any help appreciated.
