DK45SE HST with Kuhn 55 mower

Newbie question. I'm looking a purchasing a used Kuhn 55 mower. It has a single hydraulic cylinder to lift the mower bar. How do I connect the single hydraulic hose to the rear remote A & B ports? Will the remote control work with just port A connected?

Some hyd valves can be changed from double action to single action but the double action valves will work with one hose. The weight will force the hyd fluid back when the valve is "deadheaded" on the unconnected side. Single action valve will not pull engine power when lowering the mower and the double action will.
