I picked up the cutter today and that thing is heavy. I used the FEL to get it off the trailer and was going to just drive it to the back of the house to set it down. Well, I can tell right now from this and also from moving some dirt piles last week that getting the rear tires filled is almost a necessity unless I am going to keep some other kind of weight on the rear. Today, while moving the cutter, the tractor got only slightly on a sideways lean and the left rear wheel started picking up. This had also happened while moving the dirt last week but I was unsure what the dirt weighed, though I was thinking it didn't look like much. I understand that I wasn't on perfectly level ground, but I sure didn't think that it was enough today that it would have brought the tire up. From what I've read, the cutter weighs in the neighborhood of 1000# or maybe a little more and I only had it about a foot off the ground. The bucket itself was probably about five feet up. I ended setting it down and using the 3pt to move it.
