dk45se vs ds4510

Hi,
I fear the difference here is that the Kioti dealer quoted you a price with a hefty discount included. The Kubota on the other hand was not so quick to discount. Our dealers up here(Kubota)always give out the list price so they can react to the type of buyer you are. You want O% they don't have to move the price, where the Kioti guy has to pay to help buy down the rate so he has to get his price back up close to list price.
If you compare tractor for tractor, spec for spec the Kioti is most often less money and give you a year longer warranty. Kubota has come out with several models that are more HP, but lighter tractors to try to compete with Kioti pricing. More HP and less weight is not what you want in most cases.
Check HP, weight, features and warranty and Kioti will come out on top.
I am of course more partial to the Kioti Brand, but this is all just fact.
Good Luck
KiotiDave

I dnt think 24995 on the dk45se or 20995 on the ds4510 is a very good price. Thats the base price he started with. From there he said i could get a free bush hog or take 1500 off the price. But if i did that i would have to take the 6.09 apr finaceing. If i wanted the .99 or 1.9 or 2.9 i would have to pay a mark up on top of the 24995 and 20995. Yes kubota has a cash price diff. Its a thousand bucks in most cases. Mahindra is bout 2,000 in most cases if you wans to use the 0% vs there 4.9 finaceing. Kubota finaceing is the most up front. Like i said i know kioti is a good tractor but it does not have the history or legancey of the kubota. In this case i can get what i feel like is more tractor and a better tractor for 23000 for a mx4700. Thats with 0% apr for 60 months. So no matter how you cut it the kubota is cheaper over all. I could spend 27500 on a kubota and end up with the same monthly note as the dk45se kioti if i take the rebate and put it toward the tractor and pay 23995 for the tractor. My note would be 455 at 6.09. I could get a kubota for 27500 and pay 0% for 5 years and note would be 458. Its really a no brainer. I wish i would have found out that the kioti was a bang for the buck as i had heard but its just not when you look at the big picture. Naybe my dealer is too high. I don't have anyone to compare them to as they have all 3 kioti dealerships within a 100 miles of me. Please any dealers feel free to pm me a price or let me know if them prices sound too far off. I was also quated cash price of 23000 on the dk45 and 19995 for the ds4510.

You should be able to get the quoted cash price from a KIOTI dealer at the 6.09, you don't have to go 72 or 84 months. If you finance 20,000 (the DS4510 is the most comparable to the MX4700) at 6.09 for 60 months your payment will be about 387.50. That payment at 0% for 60 months will finance about 23,500. If the dealer adds 6% to the kioti plus give up the 1500 the Kioti goes to 22695 which will now finance at 0% Of course if you pay off early, you will have a higher pay off with the 0% deal because you basically have the interest built into the loan amount. So the MX4700 would have to be less than 22695 to be cheaper than the DS4510 (if you don't pay off or trade before end of the term). Any down payments will narrow the gap as the benefit of 0% is reduced. The DS does have a few features the MX does not, like full seat pan, push button PTO control and a rubber floor mat and of course 4 year unlimited hour warranty.
Kioti does require the dealer to buy down the rates and also forfiet any rebate. This is why I quit quoting 0% at my dealership. If i quote a price than I can offer 0% to everyone, the cash buyers or those with a large down or trade in, will get too high a price and I risk losing the sale. One of the few things I remember from my studies of economics back in the 70's was "ther is no such thing as a free lunch". If a company offers 0% rebate of a 1000, on a deal like this, the cash buyers are subsizing the 0% buyers. to be more equitable, the cash rebate would need to be about 2500. So who is really more up front with financing?

Just a correction, it will cost the dealer 4% (not 6) to buy the rate to 0 for 60 months and losse the current incentive/rebate of $1200 so if your KIOTI dealer will sell at 19,995 cash, he should be willing to give you 0% for 60 at $21,995 or thereabouts. In other words, the MX4700 would have to be less than 21,995 to be cheaper than the DS if you finance at 0 for 60. I wrote the previous response at home, before coffee, and was going by my middle adged memory on the programs....
