My tractor is a 2016 DK5010HS model with 830 hours on it. Some time ago my Kioti mechanic mentioned that some have strengthened the floorboard where one pivot pin is located. I just added a steel plate for strength.
The pivot pin is welded to a 1/8" steel bracket, but that bracket is only welded to the underside of the 1/16" floorboard steel. Sad really, given there is a 3/16" thick support steel just 1" away. Mine had cracked the floor steel around the weld (see photo) and shifting was spongy. I took a piece of 1 1/2" wide 1/8" thick angle iron and cut and bent it to form a bracket. I drilled holes through the floorboard and pivot bracket. I bolted the new bracket to the pivot bracket and to the 3/16" thick frame piece close by. Now shifting feels great. I may get it welded once I know it is working well.
