Buying Advice DK90 Engine

New here and looking to buy. Can someone tell me if the 2010 DK90's has a perkins engine in them?

According to TractorData.Com it is a Perkins 1104D-44T inline.

That looks to be correct. I was suprised I thought that Kioti used only their own engines. Perkins makes a very good engine. This is the same engine that TYM uses in their T903 model. The only diference between them that I know of is TYM has a inercooler on theirs. Having more than one company useing the engine tell me it is a very good one.

Developing an emissions compliant engine for somewhat limited production doesn't pay. Hence the outsourcing. The Perkins engine may be a good one, but it surely is (relative to the alternatives) inexpensive as well.
