Any good ideas how I shake a 5 gallon bucket?
Take it to the paint store, they have shakers that handle 5 gal pails.

Some of the modern oils of today do require mixing of the contents. Regarding mixing a five gallon container I simply pick it up, invert it, and shake it!! I started to buy Stanadyne Performance Formula in the 5 gallon containers starting back in the 90s and that is how I would mix it. Its less than 40 pounds! I used to buy engine oils in 55 gallon barrels back in the 50s until many years later I was taught at a seminar once how most oils and additives of today are engineered from many ingredients. One example is the total amount of an Anti-Foam Additive in a 1 quart can of Mobil Jet II Turbine Oil was basically a small drop of the Additive and you HAD to invert the can and shake it before use!
