There is a GRVW rating on your trailer if it is factory built. No matter what axles or springs you put under the trailer you by law can not exceed the rating. The manufacturer will not issue a new plate for that trailer and increase the trailer's load capacity. They have no way to know if the trailer has been altered or damaged.

That means if you get into an accident and the trailer weighs more then it is rated for, three bad things may happen. Your insurance claim will be denied and a citation for an overloaded trailer may be issued. And if there is a death or injury you may go to jail.

Load your trailer safely.
You load your trailer safely.

I would never encourage overloading. However, you CAN make alterations to trucks and trailers and legally get their weight ratings changed. I have done this 3 times successfully in PA with trucks. They have a state issued form called an MV-41. Simply explained, you have a mechanic sign off on a heavier weight rating with alterations or no alterations at all.
The form is sent to the state DMV and they have the right to accept or reject your request. If approved, you will receive a new title with your increased rating on it.You will also have to pay the higher registration fees for increased GVWR.

Gee Ray is right that the manufacturer wont do it, but your state might, IF you have a mechanic inspect your trailer with/without its upgrades and verify that it will safely meet your requested increase in GVWR.
If you go this route, I suggest you err on the conservative cautious side and think it through, then stay in the right lane and go nice and easy.

Not currently. I’m going to take another CDL test Wednesday. Hopefully I pass this time.
I got mine about 30 years ago and its one of the best things I ever did.

Trailer is a 14900. With the 10200 kx040 plus the thumb my trailer axles are at 13330. So realistically that leaves me 1570. That’s also with an extra 60” bucket which I could leave off. I’ll be right at or a little above til I get another trailer.
Do you have a cdl?
With a rating of 14900 and 7K. could be 7.2K axles it appears that the trailer manufacturer is assuming 1490 pounds of tongue weight. So you don't have 1570 you have about 700 before exceeding the axle rating. And they won't break from being slightly overweight, but overtime expect the trailer tube to loose camber and excessive wear on the inside edge of the tires.

They could also be using the max axle rating of 7450 to get their 14900. Which would put your numbers right at the max limit with the extra 1570.

My truck is capable of 2150 tongue weight and I have a scale so I do closer to 2k on truck hitch.

my last trailer was a gatormade 14k and hauled a m59/m62 on it. It would eat the inside of tires. This one is much better on tires. I just assumed the gatormade was a crappy build.

I used to stash a 2 by 3 between the axle and bed of my old single axle scrap hauling trailer.

I went to the scrap trader before school so once a month i was late. It was across the street from school, so if the class saw me haulin, it was to the amusement of the entire class so i never had trouble for being late in class
