Do you ask your wife to find stuff for you?

I never do. I tell her: "Please make it appear". And she does. I believe women have the power to do so. Works like a charm.

My wife and I have an arrangement that works for the both of us. Decades ago I had, and still have all sorts of technical books, etc. It's 100% non fiction reference material to support my hobbies. Since I'm not real good at putting things away, the clutter was driving her crazy.

Since I had a rule about leaving my stuff alone, she came up with the idea that if I let her put things away, she would find stuff for me when I wanted it. It's worked perfectly. The clutter is gone and if I'm looking for my chainsaw owner's manual I just ask and in 15 seconds it shows up. All is good.

That's amazing. If I thought it would work I'm sure my wife would help.

Typically when I'm looking around she says what are look for. I say I don't know. I'm inventing

If I lost it its my fault.... I should have put it where it belongs... :ashamed:

If she lost it, I better help her find it, because it might be under my stuff, and that would be bad.

The reason they can find it is because they are the one that moved it in the first place.

My "organized mess" drives my wife nuts. She asks how can I find anything, but when I need something I know right where it is most of the time. When I can't find something is because she moved it at least thats what I tell her.

She is very organized with everthing, she is a library media specialist. I give her everything that is important or don't what to lose. Then when I need it she just shows up with it. Sometimes before I even ask. :laughing:

Keep trying. There are lots of great babes around. It just has to be a good match. In addition, everybody has something wrong with them, it's whether you can live with it or not.
