If you have any sort of pride in your machine, wax it. If the finish is in good shape (plastic or metal) use normal car wax or sealant. If oxidation is present, use a polish first then a wax.

Mine gets done every few months during a wash. Only takes a few extra minutes, looks better, keeps the paint protected.

I even entertained the notion of having my cleaning lady clean the soot off my JD loader!

I "do" mine in the fall - just before it gets cold - I use a good car wax. During the summer I use spray on Pledge. It cleans & shines nicely.

I'll bet your cleaning lady would have really enjoyed that suggestion. Can you say - 'knuckle bumps". :laughing::laughing:
