Do you have norway rats infesting and destroying the garden??😥😥

Suddenly, norway rats are infesting and destroying my garden this year.
Only way to get rid of them is to use these traps.

I had one rat a few years ago. As you say, I tried the snap traps but they didn't work. I didn't use poison because the hole was in my chicken coop. After 2 years of unsuccessful attempts to get rid of them, the rat disappeared. I have always thought somebody had dumped it off on my road, as normally you don't have just one rat.

No rats here, black racers keep them under control. Did have an issue after Hurricane Ian drove all the snakes away, but that got resolved with Contrac or Final.

I never had any norway rat problems past. Suddenly it happens this year.

No rats here. Pocket gophers and chipmunks did a job on our garden. They took it all - wouldn't share. We turned the garden into a nice meadow and bought locally grown veggies.

If I remember right these can be warifin resistant. An Amish friend of mine had rats in his hog barn - bad. He tried all sorts of poisons but nothing would fix it. Then he went out one morning and a skunk had been in the barn. The rats left after that.

not sure how big a Norway rat is. I upgrade rat traps with a row of finish nails nailed in from below the wire swing arm. They can't get out with 3 -5 nails going through their lower jowl

There are too many pocket gophers on my property.
I caught over 1500 in the last 14 years surrounding my house.
Without getting rid of them, no way of gardening unfortunately...
It is my duty to hunting it every morning

We had a rat problem in the garden next to the chicken yard. The chicken feeder wasn't rat proof, even after I armored it with aluminum sheet. The rats chewed through it! My wife finally got a good rat proof feeder made from sheet steel and that greatly reduced the rat population. The other thing that helped was me clearing brush that was rat habitat.

This year we have a gopher that's been eating tomato plants. I have trapped hundreds of gophers and thought I was good at it but this one's been able to evade me so far. The soil in the garden is nice and loose so it's harder to find the gopher runs by feel.

My dog was chasing down half dozen rats every week until they heard about California being a sanctuary state. I hope rats tell Fire Ants and wild hogs about sunny California.
