I have been hearing good reviews for the Karcher on another forum. Strongly considering the K3.74 which runs about $239.00. Probably will not be using it more than 10 times a year so hopefully I will be ok.
I got rid of my electric one because I got tired of dragging out the extension cord. I like my gas powered one better than the electric. Funny everyones preferences!
My electric worked well (craftsman) and lasted many years while doing motocross. Only issue, switch broke and I had to hard wire it.
The way I see it you have to drag out a garden hose so what's wrong with dragging one more thing, the extension cord. 90% of the Karcher use gets done within reach of the cord it came with, right outside one of the equipment shed overhead doors.
When my buddy upgraded to a gas unit he sold his Karcher to me for $50. I don't use it often, but when I do it works pretty well. Especially good at getting the wadded up clay and bits of turf out of the tiller's maw before I park it for the season.
