I'm looking for some feedback on it's capabilities....the 425 model says 35 cf capability, but how about weigth? For stone, that'd be over a ton on two wheels, does it get bogged down?

Looking at the picture on the web site appears that the quick attach plate is not part of the trailer.... does that mean it can be towed behind the PT? Does the price include a quick attach plate?

Thanks

I don't have a weight figure, you may have to give PT a call on that.

All the PT attachments I have seen have been heavily built, so it may well carry more than whatever they specify. Getting bogged down may be more an issue of ground conditions than capacity.

The Quick Attach plate is affixed to the trailer (at an angle for easy hook-up) so that you can push or pull it via the lift arms to your destination and then raise it to dump.

There is also a bracket on the trailer to allow you to detatch the bucket after loading and transport it with the trailer to the destination and have it available as needed after dumping the load. Pretty slick actually! I think the only reason to get out of your seat is to latch and unlatch the trailer tailgate.

Good Luck, Rip

Yes, it comes with QA plate and storage for a bucket. The T8 is rated at 2000# and T12 is rated at 3000#, which you can eaisly push with that class PT. You can load the PT power dumper with the bucket, then store it in the storage slot, attach to the power dumper and move the load to its new location, raise the arms contacting the dump release on the ground, back up and unload the load, release the trailor and pick up the bucket to spread the load, then put the bucket back on the trailor and reconnect to the trailor for the return trip, ALL WITHOUT GETTING OUT OF THE SEAT A SINGLE TIME! This is the neatest trick I have seen in a long time.
I know, you think it is hard to push the trailor, but that is the eaisest part, its one of those things that just comes natural with an articulated machine.

Ed,

Thanks for clearing up the "tail gate" latch aspect... I wondered if they had automated that. Figured it was a pretty slick set-up even if they hadn't.
