This is my first post on this website. I have a 48" tiller and was wondering if anyone might know who makes it or what model it is. I think it might be a Yanmar, but am not sure.
It fits on a Kubota L140 tractor. It is bolted to the tractor at the pto shaft (4 bolts) and then attached by two lift arms.
It is a chain drive from the upper shaft to the lower tine shaft. I am hoping to find a parts manual or some documentation. I am attempting to get the box that attaches to the pto off to see why it will not spin. All the other gears and shafts move freely.
Well, I'll eat crow here. Yanmar and Kabota are from the same land so I guess they get ideas from each other. That little wheel adjustment on the back (I think for gauge wheels) is real similiar to Yanmar. :ashamed:
I posted the pictures on the Kubota forum and only learned that it has some charactoristics of a Yanmar tiller. So I did not learn much yet.
Does anyone have a picture of a similar type tiller (2 point)? Maybe the gears/pto head unit are the same??
I am disassembling it to determin why the pto shaft does not turn. It appears that I will have to dismantle the chain drive end in order to get the pto head unit apart to see the gears (and hopefully the problem). At that point I could be in search of parts.
