Does Anyone Make Pull Type Sickle Mowers?

I was wondering if there is any company that makes pull type sickle mowers now days. Most farmers don't even use sickle mowers anymore on their farms. I know that the sickle mower is a thing of the past like a team of mules is to farmers now days, but I would like to have a sickle mower.

My amish neighbor has one.There is a website we went to that has all pull type implements,cant remember it.Do a search on amish equipment.

I haven't seen a NEW pull-type sickle bar mower in years. The Amish generally use a cart with 3-point hitch, then a mounted sickle. There may be a brand I'm unaware of though.

I have a New Holland 451, 3-point model. The same mower was made in a pull-type. It was the model 456. I know of one not too terribly far from you that may be for sale at a reasonable price. New Holland still has 99% of the parts in stock for these mowers.

There's still a few New Idea pull-type mowers floating around too, but after owning several brands, I like the New Holland 451/456's myself.

Rowse Rakes still makes a pull type sickle mower. In fact they make a double sickle mower. They located in Burwell, NE and have a web page.
