Does Pressure Washer Draft ?

I guess it depends on the type of pressure washer. The one I have (actually a steam cleaner) actually has a water tank that is filled using a simple float valve like you would find in a toilet. In mine there is no suction. When the water level drops in the holding tank the float sinks and opens a valve to let more water in.

My son has a rig that he built like what you are asking about. He put a 500 gal tank on a low boy trailer and mounted a power washer at the rear of the trailer. The inlet of the power washer is connected to the water tank with a heavy duty water hose. He added a 50 foot high pressure hose on the outlet. He uses it for remote power washing jobs. The head pressure of the water in the tank should provide enough pressure to the inlet of the power washer.
