Does the screen HAVE TO been cleaned on a Branson 4720H? I have it drained now.

Theres no transmission screen on my 4720H?

I just pulled my cover off the r/h side.is No screen in this tractor. Dealer said after a certain serial number there's no screens. No need to reply except how do you delete a post?

I don't need to but want to as others may benefit from my response: I had a screen on my 6530 when new. I found that my engine runs cooler and the fins are easier to clean-out without it.

I took a 2 ½ foot length of ⅜"copper tubing and soldered the tip shut. I came back with a 1/16 drill bit and drilled 4 holes about half an inch apart all the way through the tubing making 8 holes. I added a male hose barb and a shut off valve to the other end of it.

I stick the rod down between the fins of the coolers and turn on the air (flow) to suit me. Does a super job of cleaning out the fins of the radiator, AC, and hyd fluid cooler. Works much better than the water hose, keeping the material dry...blows out better. Having the screen out of the way helps in the cleanup also.

Can't help with the deletion.
