Does the tooth fairy visit tractors? - broke my toothbar

Maybe if I put the busted tooth under the seat? I'll order a new one & a spare when I order the toothbar for my new B3030. Should have ordered a spare when I had the toothbar built, but I figured I'd have a hard time busting one on an 18 HP tractor.

Funny thing is I've continued to use it & Haven't lost the tooth yet. Should I tie a string to it & slam a door.

I can't see because of all the dirt on the teeth, but isn't that tooth replacable?
Mine are held on by a roll pin so they can be replaced.

How'd you do this, anyway?

You can get a new tooth for pretty cheap. Tap the pin out and slap on a new incisor.

I don't think I understand how that tooth got broken in the up direction. That amazes me more than the fact that you haven't lost it. The tooth almost had to have a stress crack in it from the beginning to do that. Or so it seems...???

It's obvious you have not been flossing. I was wondering as well, how did it get broke in up position?

Yes it is replaceable.

I broke it when I was popping rocks out of the ground. If a rock was stubborn and wasn't coming out using the curl function, I'd reposition & use the dump function to try & wiggle it out from the other side.

I too suspect a latent manufacturing defect

If it was me, I would put it under my pillow and wait for the tooth fairy ! Deligently hoping the tooth fairy would make a mistake and bring me a brand new tractor , bigger of course !

I love my toothbar and use it hard but never snapped a tooth. If I were you I would hammer it straight and weld that bugger back together. It might last a while or it might not but you might as well try.
