Just wanted to share a little information that we've become aware of about our dogs and the new version of the Dog Flu. As most of you know, the flu evolves every year and the vaccine for it in humans has to change to deal with it's mutations. The latest version of the Dog Flu is real bad and several top show dogs in the nation have passed away from it. Show dogs are exposed to more dogs from all over the place then non show dogs, so it's sort of been something that we have been dealing with, but now it's getting worse. Houston has 40 cases that we're aware of, Tyler, where I live has five. San Antonio has closed down their dog parks because it's getting bad. Our Vet was caught off guard on it and didn't have any vaccine. He has ordered it for us, and for his clinic. Once it gets here, we will vaccinate our dogs. We will not take them anywhere until then, and probably not until this has died down in the fall. Most people don't know that their dog is sick until it's reach nearly fatal.
