This spring I used the tractor and BBlade to alter my driveway and make it run right to the bottom of the kitchen deck walk out. Then I spread gravel down and put a topper over the deck and fenced in the area. When the built the house the grades were all wrong and now the water drains away instead of towards the building. When we moved here all that existed was a door to nothing. We called it the suicide door.
This is so convenient. We can bring groceries right up into the kitchen but being able to let the dogs out without worries of them running off into the woods is the greatest. The deck is over a slope so it's like we're sitting up in the trees. It is a great place to have a meal or just watch the birds.
I have 4 dogs, the one in the pics is "Max" or "Mr Macaroni"
I'm still going to cut off the posts that are too long and then put a facade of cedar rails onto the chain link so it's a bit nicer to look at but that will all come in time.
