Doing my fair share to stimulate the economy

Actually, more than my fair share.

Within the last month I have purchased:

a) a ZTR for my farm in NC -- I got tired of the time and aches/pains associated with mowing 3 +/- acres of a rough lawn with a 42" RER, and

b) a push mower for my house in SC -- my aged 21" Snapper gave up the ghost this week and I replaced it with a 21" self-propelled Honda.

My idea is this.

All of you TBN folks who have been sitting on the the sidelines should get out there and start buying mowers, tractors, attachments, etc. If all of you do that we can increase the country's GDP by at least 1% this quarter.

I'm with ya, Steve. Bought a new Massy 1500 series compact tractor w FEL, a Land Pride 60in rotary cutter, and a Stihl FS 250 trimmer all in the last month. Work has been steady latley so I'm not complaining. There is some great deals on compact tractors out there right now. If it's in the budget, now is definately the time to buy.

Awesome stuff! I'm with you though . I gave my perfect 2005 Cub Cadet 2544 to my FIL only to run out and buy a 2010 Cub Z-Force 44. There's my ~$4K contribution! (rather have that Massy though)

Well, I'm singlehandedly assisting the NE Ohio economy, in the past month I have put in a new sidewalk, new patio, currently building a garage, and just got a KK 72" bushhog......and always looking for more good deals!

I've been nuking my own personal economic situation. In the last two weeks i've bought:

New Bobcat CT235, used box blade

Used Howse RC

Used KK finish mower (both mowers from a GE retiree who lost his pension in i believe the Enron fiasco, couldn't tell exactly)

Markham grapple and toothbar (arriving Tuesday, using foggy1111's pic of the grapple because i stole his idea of the additional tines)

This will be the happiest i've ever been being broke...

That Bobcat tractor looks sweet, jcims. I dig the radius on the loader arms. It shows off the sloped hoodline on the new Bobcat. That used rotary cutter looks brand new. Great find.

Thanks...lol. I do think the slope (on both the loader arms and hood) help with visibility.

RC was only used once or twice...the guys wife actually waxed it before he sold it. I promptly dented the rear by backing it into a small log (newbie), but it runs great.
