Done Deal TYM On the Way

Thanks to all who answered the posts from the newbie. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It is a done deal except for the waiting /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Got a TYM T-300 HST w/ canopy and filled R4 rears, with GB 2130 fel, GB 752 bh w/subframe and 16" bucket, 5' box scraper, bale spear and trailer.

The dealer says about a ten day wait. I am now begining to understad everyone elses anxiety and can't wait jitters that I read about here on the forums.

Congrats! Little consolation, I'm sure, but it's worth the wait! Just make sure you don't do what I do and schedule too many things on delivery day so that you only get 30 minutes of seat time before having to depart. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif What did you pay for this set up? Aren't Scorpions made by the same Korean manufacturer that makes the Korean Mahindras?

Yes - TYM makes the Korean Mahindras and the Scorpions. When I was researching, I emailed their US representative and he said

 Dear Mark,

thank you for your interest in our tractors. You are correct, Mahindra does use the Daedong Engine. The Scorpion is the same tractor but it has the Kubota engine instead, and the T550 has a John Deere engine. (Mahindra does not offer the T550 model).

As for a dealer, if you located in the eastern USA then you could contact Mahindra direct to find a dealer,phone 1-800-887-2286.

If you prefer the Kubota engine then contact Decker and Co. at 1-800-800-6955.

Should you be located in the western USA then we at TYM have our own sales network and we will supply you with dealer information.
Please let me know where you are located.

Whichever tractor you choose please be assured that they are all manufactured by TYM and we supply these distributors so apart from engines and cosmetics all the tractors are the same.

Yes, They are Korean. Paid 25250.00 drive out price. Maybe on the high side but I am happy with the deal. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actually the loader and BH are in transit, abiet misplaced. The dealer did not receive them last week. The company GB is unsure of their location, so says the dealer. So ... /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif The dealer let me bring the tractor home w/BB so I could do so ground work while we are waiting on the fel and bh to arrive /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. Maybe I can get the 50 hr service at the same time.
