I finally got the courage to rebuild the lift cylinder on my CK30 with over 3000 hrs. The lift arms had been doing the "slow drop" for a couple years now even when there was no implements attached and adjusting the MLS proved fruitless and hopeing it would cure itself didn't happen. And looking at the repair manual several times, which is scary when you see all the stuff Kioti says you have remove to get at it, so I decided to do it my way which made it alot easier than thier way. Toughest part was breaking loose the top cover because there's no gasket used when assembled. To make a long story short, after pulling cylinder out, upon removing the piston, found the "O" ring had hardened (due to age)and the piston had some pretty good scoreing on it, thankfully the cylinder was OK. The only way that could happen, I'm guessing, is the factory dosen't flush the hydraulic system of "junk" when they assemble the tractors. So I ordered a new piston (took aweek to get) put it all back together with new "O" ring, back up ring, top cover gasket, new fluid & filter. So now, no more dropping lift arms!
P.S. still don't understand why Kioti says to remove the ROPES and fenders etc.
