Done Did It !

Well after talking to bank manager (wife) a few times about getting the CK30 shuttle, she met me down at the dealer to test ride one. When I got there (she beat me there!) she was already on it going around.........and around............and backward..........and around having a great ol' time, she finaly let me have a turn, then she struck a deal and got a good price for the trade in of our CK20 w/mower for the CK30 w/mower and asked when we could pick it up /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif So I'll be pickin' it probably today /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think I made the cardinal tractor sin this past weekend.. I let my wife drive the tractor. Afterward, she said "this is so easy". I don't want to imagine what that means /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

We went and picked up the new CK30 w/R4's and 60" mower yesterday (28th). When we got there it was already to go with the mower attached, went inside, filled out the paper work, and wrote the check. My wife went out climbed in the seat, started it, let it warm up. Then raised the mower, the bucket and drove it around to alittle. I put the ramps on the trailer and she drove it up on the trailer! I chained it down and suddenly the sky openend up (down pour!) bad omen? Now I kinda sweat, will my ole '95 Ram 1500 tow it? Yep! didn't even breath hard! Yes, I know, should have a bigger truck, we'll work on that next /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif A few of you maybe woundering why the trade up, well I do weekend mowing etc. and the 20 worked great on jobs that were 4 acres or less but when I did a 5 acre job it was a chore time wise and the "little guy" did it with out a complaint! But lately I've gotten calls for 5, 7 even 10 acre jobs which I've had to turn over to my competiters. Now I feel I'll have better chance at these and still be able to take care of my smaller customers. We considered keeping the little guy too but just don't have the room, we're confident that someone will adopt him and give him a good home. Now we must sell the "under size" implements and buy new ones for his big brother /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I'll have to post a pic.....as soon as quits raining here!! Sorry for the long post, got carried away!
