I have a 2011 DF254G2 with a cab and loader. The loader frame is quick detach but I would have to disconnect all 4 hoses at the loader upper arm to remove it. Has anyone put quick connect hydraulic fittings on these hoses somehow ?

Without a cab would be easy because the loader valve is attached to the loader but with a cab the valve is moved inside. I have removed the quick connects to and from the valve on the main supply and replaced them with pipe couplers because they did not need to be there.

I could not see why it would be a problem as long as you used quality QC's and labeled everything clearly. I would use colored zip ties. RED/BLACK/YELLOW/ORANGE.

I would label the hoses and use good QC's but I don't have the appropriate adaptors or can I just get the hose cut in the middle and get connectors crimped inline. I am not sure of the hose size as don't read Chinese.

Good luck on getting the hoses cut and new ends crimped. Ends are made to a spec for a certain hose. If you use the wrong hose or wrong ends the crimps will fail and it can be very dangerous. My guess is you will not find anyone to do this for this reason...

That is why I would like to know exactly how to read my hose, I want to get the correct size fittings for it. It is marked TJG 1-8/2/48MPa.

I'm by no means an expert on the hydraulics on these tractors, but my tractor uses hoses marked 2-8-40MPa for the FEL hoses and 2-10-40MPa for the main supply lines. My best guess on the numbers are that they mean 2-wire (or maybe 2mm thick?), 8mm/10mm ID, 40 megapascal (5800psi). 8mm would be ~.315 inches and 10mm would be ~.394 inches. I'm replacing those hoses with 3/8" ID and 1/2" ID hoses, respectively. Your number markings probably indicate that they are 8mm ID hoses, and unless you could find metric crimp ends made for that particular hose you're probably better off just replacing the hoses with something more standard (and plentiful). I'm in the process of converting all of my hoses to JIC myself.

Well, if I can't cut the hose and install couplers inline does anyone know where I can get the adaptors required to install the couplers right at the hard lines ? IE metric ORFS male to NPT and metric ORFS female to NPT ?

I wouldn't confuse the issue with adapters. MINCE probably doesn't realize that Canada uses the metric system.Seems to me what you're looking for should be readily available at any well-stocked hydraulic supplier.

But unless your hydraulic supplier has a service truck, you'll have to remove the hoses from the tractor and take them to the shop to be pressed on.

All I mean in the last question was to disconnect the hoses at the loader and install couplers there. I have been lead to believe that these Chinese tractors use a metric ORFS that are hard to locate in North America.

Not in my experience. I live in small town Kentucky, yet only had to drive 10 miles to find a hydraulic shop that had the metric/SAE adapters I needed for my KAMA
