These pictures came to me in an email with the above title. I know nothing about the incident although the title implies that the operator dropped the bucket while moving forward at high speed. Don't know if that's true or not, but if true, he surely had a wild ride for a short period.

The trailer could be there simply to cart off the carcass, though it's presence does open a possibility that this might have been a trailering accident of some type. As I said, I know nothing about the incident, but they are some interesting pictures.

These pics were posted a few months back. If I recall correctly, the tractor was being trailered and fell off (the trailer).
Those pics are pretty amazing though, aren't they?

Goodness!! I hope Roy's explanation was true. If someone was actually driving that thing, I can't begin to imagine the pucker factor.

Hmmmm, I'll look for that old thread, Roy. To me it looks like the dropped bucket explanation looks more likely. It looks to me like the that tractor was pulling the trailer when the accident happened. For evidence I look at the the third picture that shows the tongue of the trailer gouged into the road just behind the tractor, and the trailer hitch between the lift arms.

I agree something happened at a speed greater than 20mpg. if the fel fell down i don't see how it would fold the tractor up like that, just fold up the fel. JMO.

If I had to guess; the tractor was towing the seen trailer and another vehicle hit the trailer; causing the damage.

Harrrummmmph! Rob, maybe it wasn't tied down properly? ;):p:D

Edit: OK, turns out it probably didn't fall off the trailer after all. Rob, I take it all back. /;)/:p/:D

Picture number 3 sure looks like the FEL hit the gound and dug in deep!!! I'm at a loss how it folded the entire FEL under the tractor like it did, but would love to hear the official verson of what happened. Is it on Snopes.com?

How would it dig that hole if it fell off a trailer?

Eddie

Very strange. Even if the bucket dropped at high speed, I would think there would be one or more weak links somewhere that would have failed before it could fold completely under the tractor. I'm sure there is a story. I guess it is like a lot of things in life, you can't necessarily bet the farm merely on the way something appears. You have to get the facts....

So get busy researchers, get us the facts! I'm curious!!!:D
