John deere 5100m, mf1643 cab and kubota bx2370woods bb720x land pride disc and reverse tiller
Frontier mx6 or the woods bb270x, the woods is 100 dollars more but that's because its on sale. Woods looks a little beefier, and I'm leaning that way more, but the frontier is from my dealership. Any suggestions, anyone familiar with either???

I could have sworn some Frontier mowers are made by Woods. Not sure though. Both brands are well respected. I have a Wood BB72 and its been trouble free. Good heavy unit.

What kind of tractor you using it with?

The Woods is about 150 pounds heavier.
My BB60 has served flawlessly since I got it in 2007.

The BB720X is a little heavier duty than the BB72 and the MX6 and is rated for 3" max versus 1.5" for the BB72 and 2" for the MX6. Also the Woods are clevis style hookups and QH compatible. Not sure if the Deere is QH compatible. I have a Woods and like it very much.

Based on the specs and little difference in price, I would go with the woods

You won't be dis-serving yourself with either one. I note the Frontier has a higher tip speed. The Woods in heavier. $100 difference? Dun your dealer for a little more on the Frontier. If he'll move, go Frontier. If not, go Woods. Both good rigs just get the most for the money. You can work it out.

The MX6 isn't a Frontier, The MX's are John Deere built.
