While not the DR Power 3-point trimmer I do have the Titan Attachments 3-point trimmer, after comparing them and their owners manual I think it is safe to say the same company in china is manufacturing these. I actually used the DR manual in some instances since it has pictures compared to the one provided from titan. I got it on 4th of july sale for $800 shipped to my house including tailgate drop.. compared to titan it would have been $1150 for same mower and tailgate drop. Overall it works fine and I would purchase it again... As OP said I cut the driveshaft 3" (I didn't measure, It just didn't fit and I knew 3" would be enough while still leaving around 8" of overlap between the two pieces) I also had to pound the driveshaft onto the mower's gearbox spline thing (idk why it was so tight, but it's on and is fine) Oh and the grease zerks on the u-joints to the drive shaft are smaller than normal so I can't grease them using those zerks until I find new ones...
URL to model I bought

my pics (trimming time is down from 3-4 hours by hand to 1 hour by tractor. I now end up doing 1 pass outside fence and 1 pass inside fence to make it look nicer.

These pics are from first time using it, I wish I took pictures when I did a second trimming this year, it's much cleaner with shorter grass and takes even less time, it honestly looks like I spent a lot of time mowing the fence line and I did a quick pass on the outside.
Wow, it looks very similar to the DR model. I still don't have the power take shaft greased. I found some info on line about pulling the shields on the ends of the shaft guard back. Also I found references to greasing the plastic zerks to help with the friction between the shaft and the guard. I am not going to try and remove u-joint from the gearbox shaft. Good luck with your Titan.
