My 2006 4530 draft and lift controls are sticking to the point they raise/lower together and are hard to move when both handles are grabbed and pushed in opposite directions. I thought it was due to resistance in the washers/spacers between the handles so I removed them today. After separating them and cleaning I applied a dab of grease between each plate as I stacked them back together and reinstalled. After I had everything back together it still did the same thing.
When I had the controls off I noticed the input shafts for the hydraulics have one shaft inside the other. The draft control is the smaller shaft and goes through the larger outer shaft for the lift control. I'm guessing they are gaulding or something is binding internally. It looks like I can remove the housing but don't know what I will get into in there. Has anyone experienced this or have a solution?
