I have used both a tiller and box blade on the rear of my DK40 and can see no advantage to the draft control feature.
Could somebody with a good understanding of it's operation please enlighten me?The manual is kind of vague on this.......Thanks in advance,Mike.

Drop your depth lever to the maximum down. Then set your depth with the draft lever, then you are using your draft to do your cutting and load. When you need to raise, do use your lift lever for that job as well as setting it back down. You will find it easier to adjust the depth of cut with the draft over your raise lower lever. On the tiller it might not make as much difference as on the box blade. Tractors for farm run from about a 3-4% load change to over 20% to react on the draft. Naturally those at 20% do little or no good.
