Anything above 80hp (I use too many different ones now)
I'm not entirely sure on how to do this but I need to drain the engine.

My dad, the helpful and impatient soul that he is, decided to put in tainted diesel in my yanmar tractor (had a lot of water in it) when I told him not to.

Lo and behold, the yanmar 2210 engine seizes and won't start. He then decides to keep turning it until the starter blows (I fixed the starter) and now I am stuck with the initial problem of getting the bad fuel out of the engine itself. Then he blames me for buying junk after its broken.

He's done this before with another guy's equipment (I keep telling him NOT to do machinery) but he's stubborn. Maybe I should just hide the keys from him. Not to mentioned he's nearly killed me twice in the past year in hitting the accelerator and brakes while backing up into me (thank God for steel toe boots), and pulling stumps out with a short chain and nearly hitting me with the whiplash when I said it needs to be 10' minimum.

What steps do I have to do to clear the engine? I'll probably spend this weekend on this project or the next ones. Thanks folks!

I'd first drain the tank, disconnect the fuel lines and blow them out. then take out the glow plugs and turn the engine over to get any contaminated fuel out of the cylinders, and drain the pump if it has a drain. Next fill the tank with fresh fuel, reconnect the fuel lines to the pump and put the glow plugs back in. Turn the engine over until you get fuel out of the lines then reattach them to the head and start her up.

Do that and don't keep contaminated fuel around. :D

I'd be happy to have my Dad back doing anything with me again. :)
