I am looking for a Draw Bar for a 3 point hitch to connect a 2" ball to pull a trailer. Any ideas ?

Draw bars are very easy to come by...just about any place that deals in tractors or tractor stuff will have them. But you need more that that as you need to have a way to stablize the drawbar so it will not "flip" while in use for the purpose you intend. This is usually done through some additional connection to the third (top) point on the 3pt. You can build something yourself...a number of folks have "shown theirs" here at TBN...or buy a ready-made 3pt ball hitch setup.

... Here is a post showing one. I have a picture file that I save all the pictures of things that others have made. I figure that some time in the future, if I decide that I might want something like it, there is no sense in "reinventing the wheel". I have probably 5 or 6 different designs so far available in picture form. Trailer hitch for a BX2200 ...

Attached is a picture of one that I made. It works well in most cases but you have to be careful when you make sharp turns. When making sharp turns the tounge can hit on the drawbar support frame. For that reason, I think the Bad River drawbar is a better design.

what is wrong with the hole in the frame. I used it on both the 2200 and the 23. Am I missing something...........which would not be all that abnormal!

DannyD the ability to raise and lower the ball is the desire for using the 3-point hitch model. Of course with that comes some safety issues(tongue raising 3-point, weight distribuition higher than axles etc.). The Bad River design takes care of the tongue raising issue.

Here is another version, that I had built by a local fab shop. I don't move loaded trailers, and my land is flat so I don't worry about the safety chain to keep the tongue down.
